In Loving Memory of Grendel Marie – the heart behind Gren Village

What exactly is Gren Village?

Gren Village is a nonprofit sanctuary for senior dogs – the kind of dogs that get passed over because of their age, health, or past. This isn’t a shelter or a stepping stone. It’s a final, loving home for the dogs that need it most.

Do you only take seniors?

Mostly, yeah. We focus on older dogs – the ones with gray faces, stiff joints, and soft hearts. Some are hospice, some just need a new start. Either way, we meet them where they’re at and let them be loved for however long they’ve got.

Can I volunteer or help in person?

Eventually, yes. Right now we’re still building. But once the sanctuary’s up and running, we’ll need hands-on help with care, events, and maybe even just hanging out with the dogs who need a buddy. Until then? Spread the word. Share the mission. Send snacks.

Do you host events?

When we can. Some are fundraisers. Some are just excuses to hang out with fellow dog lovers and do something good. Keep an eye on our socials or subscribe to updates – we’ll post anything open to the public.

Can I adopt one of your dogs?

Most of our dogs are here for life – that’s the whole point. But in rare cases, if a dog would truly thrive in a home of their own, we’re open to it. Just know this isn’t an adoption program. It’s a forever plan.

How can I support Gren Village?

Follow us. Talk about us. Donate if you can. Shop the Pitato collection. Tell your dog-loving friends. Every little bit adds up. You’re not just helping dogs – you’re building a sanctuary from the ground up.
